The always-smiling mascot of the University of Minnesota has again won top national honors. Goldy Gopher was first in the 2013 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship in Orlando, Florida over the weekend. Several other Big Ten mascots made the top 10 as well, but this was the second time in the past three years that Goldy has claimed the national title. Minnesota also won two other divisions this year, jazz and pom. It’s the fourth consecutive year that Minnesota has won those divisions.
