The murder trial of a rural Paynesville man is now scheduled to begin on April 22nd in Kandiyohi County Court. 46-year-old Timothy John Huber was indicted on first and second-degree murder charges for the October 2011 shooting death of 43-year-old Timothy Richard Larson of Albertville. Larson was killed on his father’s rural Belgrade property after a confrontation with Huber and his father that apparently stemmed in part from the Hubers’ farm equipment being parked at the Larson farm. The Hubers have contended that Larson stole money from Timothy Huber’s wallet and then vandalized their tractors. The 82-year-old Delbert Huber was sentenced to over 30 years in prison as part of a plea deal. Timothy Huber’s trial is expected to last 3 weeks, and he faces the possibility of being sentenced to life in prison.
