Winnebago Ethanol Explosion 28 Dec 12

The investigation into an explosion at an ethanol plant in Winnebago on Christmas morning continues, and officials from the state fire marshall’s office remain on the scene. The explosion at Winnebago’s Corn Plus plant heavily damaged a large dryer building, but no one was injured. Firefighters were called out to the plant at around 3:15am on Christmas Day, and spent about 3 hours at the scene. Corn Plus has not commented on the explosion, but has said that the operations at the plant are continuing.
