The Sibley County Board was conducting interviews with the 2 finalists for the all-new county administrator position on Thursday, and a hiring decision is expected to be made this week. Sibley County is one of the few counties in the state without an administrator, but the county board approved a job description for the new position in September and began accepting applications. The salary range will be between $61,000 to $100,000. The 2 finalists for the position are Arlington City Administrator Matt Jaunich and Scott County Procurement and Enterprise Risk Manager Jennifer Bausman-Schultz. She has been with Scott County for nearly 6 years, and has prior experience in St. Paul and Rochester. Jaunich has worked for the City of Arlington for over 5 years, and previously worked for the City of Hector. The Sibley County Board is expected to make a decision during its meeting on Wednesday, December 26th.
