A Stewart woman was hospitalized Sunday night after being hit by a SUV while crossing Highway 212 in Stewart. It happened at just before 11pm. The State Patrol says that 46-year-old Janell Bryant and an unidentified man had just left the bar and were crossing 212 on foot without checking for traffic when Bryant was hit by an eastbound Dodge Durango. She was treated for her injuries at the Hutchinson Hospital, and has since been released. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
