A New Ulm woman was injured in a collision with a semi-truck Thursday afternoon. It happened at about 2:45pm at the intersection of North Franklin and 7th North Streets in New Ulm. 27-year-old Amber Keech reportedly went to turn east onto 7th North when her Dodge Caravan slid into the intersection on the icy road and sideswiped a Peterbilt semi driven by 27-year-old Nathan Haglund of New Brighton. Keech suffered minor injuries in the crash and her minivan took severe damage. Haglund was not hurt and the semi took only minor damage.
