A Mankato man accused of assaulting 2 people with a knife over the weekend made his first appearance in court on Monday. Bail was set at $40,000 with conditions or $150,000 without for 43-year-old Ralph Griffin. He’s facing one count of terroristic threats and two counts of felony assault related to the stabbing late Friday night. Officers were dispatched to a residence on East Thompson Street in Mankato at around 11:30pm and found a 26-year-old man with two knife wounds and an 18-year-old woman with minor injuries. The man was hospitalized, while the woman was treated at the scene. Authorities were forced to use a tazer when they located Griffin because he allegedly resisted arrest. He’s now scheduled to be back in court on December 13th.
