The Minnesota Timberwolves blew a 15-point first half lead and fell at Orlando last night 102-93 in Florida. Minnesota held a 62-49 halftime advantage, thanks to a 32-point second quarter. But, the Wolves only mustered 32 points for the entire second half and only 15 points were scored in the fourth quarter by Minnesota. Minnesota’s Ricky Rubio was held scoreless and had four assists and three turnovers in 16 minutes of play. It was Rubio’s second game of the season. He will not play tonight at Miami in order to rest his knee. That had been pre-planned prior to the trip to Florida. Kevin Love had 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Nikola Pekovic chipped in with 19 points and a dozen boards. Orlando’s Glen Davis poured in a game-high 28 points to lead Orlando. The Wolves and Heat tip off at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
