A 25-year-old Mankato man was injured early this (WED) morning when he lost control of his vehicle on Highway 14 in Nicollet County. It happened at just after 2:30am near Lor-Ray Drive in North Mankato. Ricky Wilmes was driving a 2005 Ford Econoline truck and reportedly lost control and went off the roadway while changing lanes. He was hospitalized in Mankato with unidentified, but non life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol says that the highway was wet at the time.
