An 87-year-old LeCenter woman is in Critical condition after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 99 Friday morning. It happened at just after 10:30am at the intersection with LeSueur County Road 110 near LeCenter. Ruth Frederickson was driving a 1998 Buick Century westbound on 99 when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and rolled. She has been taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where she is listed in Critical condition. Her vehicle was totaled.
Two people were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 169 in Nicollet County Friday night. 23-year-old Allison Popp of Sauk Rapids was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber southbound on 169 near St. Peter when she swerved to avoid a deer at just after 11pm and the vehicle rolled across the median and came to rest on it’s side in the northbound lanes. Popp and her passenger, 23-year-old Jordan Barten of Sauk Rapids were both treated for their injuries at the River’s Edge Hospital in St. Peter and have since been released. The vehicle took severe damage. The State Patrol is investigating the crash.
