Child Porn Charges Dismissed 01 Dec 12

Possession of child pornography charges against an MSU-Mankato football coach have been dismissed, but he won’t be going back to work right away. Blue Earth County Judge Krista Jass tossed out the charges against MSU Football Head Coach Todd Hoffner in court on Friday. He had been accused of making indecent cell phone videos of his own children, but Judge Jass said that the videos appeared to be nothing more than nude children dancing and acting silly after a bath. University officials say that Hoffner will remain on administrative leave pending the school’s own investigation, however, and that there is currently no timetable for when that investigation will end. Hoffner has been on leave all season.
