“A Nice Snow Event” is what forecasters are calling the storm system that continues to pass through the state today (FRI). National Weather Service Meterologist Rick Hiltbrand is predicting a total of three to four inches in southern Minnesota. He says that untreated roads will be icy — but the wind won’t be a big factor. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the southern third of the state until noon today. New Ulm had received a total of 3-inches of new snow as of 6 o’clock this morning.
