The number of confirmed cases of Whooping Cough continues to rise in Minnesota. The State Health Department reports that the latest number of cases of Pertussis now totals more than 4,100 this year. Whooping Cough has been reported throughout all areas of Minnesota now, including in Brown County. This year’s Pertussis outbreak shattered case number records set in the 1940′s, which took place before a vaccine was made available.
