A hunter was found dead in a tree stand in Waseca County Thursday afternoon. The victim’s wife apparently became concerned when he didn’t return home from a morning hunt, and contacted authorities at around 2:30pm. The man’s body was found in a tree stand south of Waseca, and investigators say he appears to have died from a medical condition. An 11-point buck was found shot to death nearby the tree stand as well. The man’s name has not been released at this time pending notification of relatives.
