A pedestrian was injured Tuesday afternoon in Mankato after being struck by a car driven by a 27-year-old Truman man. 62-year-old Nancy Pedersen was taken to the Mankato Mayo Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being hit while the vehicle was backing up. The driver of the vehicle, Rusty Allison of Truman, was not hurt.
