Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio spent a couple of days earlier this week visiting doctors in Colorado. His medical team gave him the go-ahead to start practicing this week with the hope of returning to game action within two weeks. In an interview with the team’s webpage, Rubio says he’s eager to get back onto the floor to help his teammates win games. He anticipates getting eased back into the rotation. He says rehabilitating his injured knee was lonely at times and he’s glad he is back. The Wolves host Milwaukee tonight at the Target Center at 7 p.m. Rubio will not play in the game this evening.
