A 13-year-old New Ulm boy was hit by a car while crossing Broadway on a bicycle Wednesday afternoon. It happened at around 3:15pm at the intersection with 16th North in New Ulm. Hunter Landsteiner was riding his bike across Broadway when he was struck by a northbound Buick Century driven by 74-year-old Bernice Fischer of Gibbon. Witnesses say that Fischer had a green light at the time. Landsteiner was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center with unknown injuries, and Fischer was not hurt. Her vehicle took light damage.
