Four felony charges of criminal vehicular operation were filed Thursday against a 21-year-old Cokato man already facing multiple counts of criminal vehicular homicide for a triple-fatality car crash near Willmar in August. The additional charges were added to eight felony counts and one misdemeanor charge already filed against Paul Anthony Wickenhauser in Kandiyohi County Court. The new charges include driving under the influence of alcohol. 68-year-old Marta Stoffers of Atwater, her daughter-in-law, 40-year-old Michelle Hoffman of Eden Prairie, and Hoffman’s 8-year-old daughter Julia were all killed in the crash. A request to delay Wickenhauser’s omnibus hearing scheduled for November 19th was granted on Thursday as well. No new hearing date has been set at this time.
