The Minnesota Music Hall of Fame annual Banquet and Induction Ceremony takes place Friday evening at Turner Hall in New Ulm. A total of 136 people or organizations have been inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame since 1989, and this year’s inductees bring that total to 142. Executive Director Dodie Wendinger says that anyone can submit a nomination for inductees. She says the nomination should include their musical life history as well as the effect that person has had on the Minnesota music industry. This year’s inductees include: Leonard “Skeets” Langley of Champlin; Chord-Ayres of Milan; Leroy Glazier from Sauk Rapids; Koerner, Ray & Glover of Minneapolis; Canoise of St. Cloud; and Jerry Minar from New Prague. The banquet and induction ceremony is Friday evening, and the annual “Inductee Showcase” takes place Saturday at the museum in New Ulm.
