Minnesotans cast a record number of ballots in Tuesday’s election, and continue to lead the nation in voter turnout. Voters in our state cast over 2.94 million ballots in the presidential race. Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says Minnesotans take voting very seriously. Ritchie says that Tuesday’s turnout was about 76% of Minnesota’s eligible voters. In the local area, turnout was at or above around 90% in every county. Brown County had a 96% voter turnout.
