Detours will be going up on Highway 4 in Renville County this week as crews begin culvert and tile replacement in two locations. The work begins on Tuesday. The northern location is two miles north of Hector on Highway 4 near 820th Avenue. The southern location is 4.5 miles south of Hector near County Road 4. Detours will be in place at both locations, and will be removed on November 21st, weather permitting. Local traffic will be allowed within detour areas, except at the culvert repair sites. Mn/DOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
