The Holiday Season officially kicks off at the Minnesota Governor’s Residence this week. A 25-foot white spruce is now on display on the front lawn of the residence in St. Paul, and the interior of the home on Summit Avenue has been decorated by 7 different designers. Public tours of the Governor’s Residence are being offered from 11am to 1pm every Tuesday through December 18th, beginning today. No reservations are needed for the free tours, and they are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the historical residence during the tours, and merchandise will be available to purchase afterwards.
