A detour was being put into place on a portion of Highway 22 beginning today (FRI) while crews work on stabilizing the bank of the Le Sueur River. The work is getting underway sooner than expected, and is being done in an area one mile south of Blue Earth County Road 90. Traffic will be detoured to County Road 90, Highway 83, and Blue Earth County Road 15 for about a week. The entire $471,000 project should be completed by the end of November. Mathiowetz Construction of Sleepy Eye is the contractor.
