The Golden Gopher football team entertains Michigan today for the 99th time in the storied rivalry. To the winner goes the “Little Brown Jug,” which is the nation’s oldest, on-going rivalry trophy. Michigan has dominated the series since the late 1960s. The Golden Gophers have not beaten Michigan at home since 1977, and have won only two road games since then. Minnesota won in Ann Arbor in 1986 and 2005. Overall, Michigan leads the series against Minnesota 71-24-and-3. Today’s game kicks off at 11 a.m. at TCF Bank Stadium.
