The holiday season has arrived, and the American Red Cross is asking everyone to give something meaningful – hope for those in need. A blood donation is a gift that doesn’t cost a thing, and can help more than just accident victims. In the local area today (MON), blood drives are being held at the Lafayette Charter School from 1 to 7pm and the Nicollet American Legion from 1:30 to 7:30. On Tuesday the Bloodmobile will be at South Central College in North Mankato from 10am to 3pm, and on Wednesday at GFW High School in Winthrop from 8am to 1pm and the Glencoe City Center from 1 to 7. On Thursday there’s a blood drive at St. Ann’s Parish Center in Janesville from 1 to 6pm, and on Friday at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center’s Tomlinson Hall from 8 to 1.
