A Revere man is dead after a train collided with a tractor Wednesday morning near Lamberton. The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office received the 911 call reporting the accident on Harvest Avenue a quarter-mile south of Highway 14 at 8:40am on Wednesday. The Canadian Pacific train hit the John Deere tractor driven by 43-year-old Chad Nelson Anderson at the railroad crossing just west of Lamberton, and Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. The train engineer was not injured. The Lamberton Police and Fire Departments as well as Lamberton Ambulance assisted at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
