Businesses in the St. James area are being warned to be on the lookout for counterfeit currency. St. James Federal issued the warning to other St. James Chamber of Commerce members after experiencing counterfeit activity with a $10 bill. Retailers and other financial institutions are being advised to keep their eyes open for further issues. Anyone receiving any counterfeit bills or bad checks, or witnessing any suspicious activity is asked to contact the St. James Police Department.
