Pumpkin – Poppy Seed Cookies 16 Oct 12

Cream together:
3/4 cup butter
1-1/3 cups sugar

Add:
1 egg
1 cup cooked pumpkin
1/4 cup light molasses
1 tsp vanilla

Sift together:
2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Add:
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup poppy seeds

Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool.

Frosting:
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tbsp light molasses
2 tbsp chopped pecans
