Pork Chop and Kraut Bake 03 Oct 12

6-8 pork chops
1 – 29oz can sauerkraut, drained
1 grated potato
2 medium apples, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 T brown sugar
1 tsp caraway seed

Brown chops with salt and pepper. Combine sauerkraut, potato, apples, onion, brown sugar and caraway seed. Place in a 9×13 inch baking pan. Place chops on sauerkraut mixture. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and continue baking 15 minutes or until chops are done.
