A 76-year-old New Ulm man was charged with felony terroristic threats in Brown County Court on Wednesday for allegedly threatening a jail administrator. Duane Marstone had been booked into the Brown County Jail on a probation violation last Wednesday, but upon his release on Tuesday he reportedly began arguing with the jail administrator over the amount of money that had been in his jail account. Marstone claimed to have had $25 in cash when he was booked into jail, while jail records showed he only had $1.63. Marstone then allegedly threatened to run over the officer when he saw him on the street, and he was arrested and taken back into the jail. He has since been released.
