The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is holding another “Hot Topics Breakfast” this Friday at the New Ulm Country Club. The topic this month will be the upcoming School District 88 Levy Referendum. Superintendent Harold Remme will be discussing several aspects of the referendum, including the impact it would have on residents taxes. Remme says that you can determine the tax impact the referendum would have on your property by going to the District 88 website and clicking on “Tax Calculator.” The Hot Topic Breakfast begins at 7:30 Friday morning at the Country Club. Those interested in attending should RSVP to the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce by Noon on Wednesday.
