The Minnesota Lynx survived a last-second shot attempt by Seattle and held on to beat the Storm 73-72 in the decisive game of the WNBA Western Conference semifinals last night. Minnesota will now play Los Angeles in the Western Conference Finals, beginning tomorrow. Seattle’s Lauren Jackson missed a shot as time was expiring that would have won the contest for the Storm. Lynx star Seimone Augustus scored 21 points, her teammate Maya Moore poured in 20, but Rebekkah Brunson was the player with the most impact. She pushed through 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the win.
