ISD 88 Referendum Meeting 29 Oct 12

A special public meeting is being held this (MON) evening to discuss the New Ulm District 88 levy referendum appearing on resident’s ballots next week. District 88 is asking voters to approve a 10-year, $575 per-pupil referendum that would generate around a million dollars annually for the school district. The property taxes on a $100,000 home in the District 88 area would increase by under $10 a month if the measure is approved. This evening’s public meeting to discuss the referendum begins at 7pm in the Boardroom of the District Administrative Center in New Ulm.
