The State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating a pair of recent fires near Good Thunder. Fire crews were called out to a home on Juneberry Road near Good Thunder at just before 11pm Friday to find 2 large sheds quickly going up in flames. Strong winds added extra difficulty to fighting the fires, and both sheds were a total loss. No injuries were reported, and no damage was done to the nearby residence. The sheds reportedly contained tools and a vehicle. Firefighters from Good Thunder, Mankato, St. Clair and Mapleton all assisted at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the fires continues.
