Two people were injured in a single-vehicle car crash near Good Thunder Monday night. It happened at just after 10:30pm on Highway 66. 33-year-old Daniel Schonek of Delevan was reportedly driving a 2005 Ford GT at a high rate of speed when he lost control on some curves and the vehicle left the road and hit some trees. Both Schonek and his passenger were knocked unconscious in the crash. Schonek was taken to the Mankato Mayo Hospital with possible lower back and head injuries, while 35-year-old Brian Struck of Mankato refused medical transport and was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The GT was totaled.
