Gibbon Fleeing Police Sentence 31 Oct 12

A Gibbon man accused of trying to outrun state troopers while on a motorcycle had pleaded guilty to reckless driving as part of a plea deal. 22-year-old Evan James Forst was clocked going 140 miles-per-hour on Highway 68 west of Mankato in August and a chase ensued. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless driving in Blue Earth County Court on Tuesday, and charges of felony fleeing police in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor careless driving were dismissed. He was ordered to serve one year on probation and was fined over $400.
