A truck driver from Iowa faces felony charges in Nicollet County Court for allegedly stealing a tractor and trailer from a Courtland-based trucking company. 43-year-old Sean Garrett was charged with 2 counts of felony theft after the American Midwest Transportation truck never arrived at it’s destination in Garland, Texas recently. The trucking company worked with authorities and found the trailer abandoned near Waco, Texas thanks to a GPS tracking unit, and later found the tractor at a nearby truck stop. Garrett’s girlfriend and mother reportedly live in Waco, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
