Former President Bill Clinton is coming to Minnesota today (TUE) to campaign for Democratic President Barack Obama. The Clinton campaign events in several Midwestern states will partially fill a void for Obama, who has taken himself off the road temporarily to deal with Hurricane Sandy. Minnesota has been getting increasing attention as both Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney launch late TV commercials, but Obama is still favored to collect the 10 electoral college votes. Clinton is holding rallies in Minneapolis and Duluth today. The Republican ticket is considering making a last minute stop in Minnesota as well, with either Mitt Romney or Paul Ryan likely visiting the state sometime during the final week before the election. Rommney’s last public campaign appearance in Minnesota was in February.
