A Waseca man faces felony charges after an incident at the Mankato Mayo Hospital emergency room early Saturday morning. 33-year-old Casey Lowell Sather was reportedly intoxicated when he was brought to the facility at just before 5am Saturday. He was arrested after allegedly attacking police officers and attempting to spread a communicable disease by spitting at people trying to calm him down. No one was hurt in the incident. Sather was taken to the Blue Earth County Jail, and is expected to make his first court appearance today (TUE) on a charge of 4th-degree assault. Sather has been charged with assaulting officers in the past.
