Stewart Man Injured 25 Sep 12

A Stewart man was injured early Monday morning when the hog truck he was driving ran off the road and rolled in Jackson County. It happened at around 2:45am on Highway 86 about 6 miles north of the Iowa border. 27-year-old Matthew Lentsch was driving a 1998 Peterbilt semi loaded with approximately 160 hogs southbound on the highway when he lost control and drove off the road. The truck rolled onto it’s side, and around 20 hogs were killed. Lentsch suffered only minor injuries. His truck was totaled.
