A Red Flag Warning continues until 9pm today (TUE) for much of Minnesota due to critical fire conditions. The National Weather Service says that the combination of warm temperatures, strong winds and low humidity will create “explosive” fire growth potential. Drought conditions continue growing across the state as well, with some locations in southern Minnesota currently experiencing extreme drought. The high today in the KNUJ area is forecast to be 96-degrees, which would be a new record. Tomorrow the temperature will reverse itself, with a high of 69-degrees forecast.
