A judge has ordered Jennifer Nibbe’s father to turn over several items he took from her hme after she was arrested for killing her husband James Nibbe. Attorney Patrick Casey, who is representing James Nibbe’s family, said the items the family wants have more of a sentimental value rather than a monetary value. The family is also concerned that some of the items were lost or destroyed after Nibbe’s father, Dan Gilman took them from the house in rural Lake Crystal. Some of the items were recovered, many were not. Some of the items the family has requested to have returned were taken by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension during the investigation and will be returned once Jennifer Nibbe’s time limit for an appeal has expired.
