A Gaylord man was in court this week for a felony controlled substance charge. 26-year-old Ricky Levi Tollefson was pulled over by a state trooper after failing to stop at the intersection of Nicollet County Road 1 and Highway 22. Tollefson allegedly showed signs of being under the influence at the time, and the trooper reportedly spotted a glass jar with what appeared to be marijuana in it on the driver’s floor next to Tollefson’s feet. A search of his vehicle turned up around 3-grams of marijuana, as well as pipes and a Vicodin pill. Tollefson faces up to 5 years in prison for the crime.
