A 19-year-old New Ulm man facing several felony charges for his alleged involvement in several break-ins in the City of Gaylord is scheduled to be in court for an Omnibus Hearing today (THU). Sean David McFarland is accused of burglarizing Kranz Lawn and ATV, Gaylord Sanitation, and Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with a juvenile male from New Ulm and 2 juvenile females from Gaylord in July. Cash, cigarettes, and a laptop computer were reportedly taken during the break-ins. McFarland has been charged with 2 counts of 2nd-degree burglary and 1 count of 3rd-degree burglary. His hearing in Sibley County Court today will determine the admissibility of evidence as the case moves towards trial. McFarland also faces charges in Nicollet County for a break-in at the Klossner House.
