Two residents of New Ulm were involved in a car crash on Highway 10 in Morrison County Thursday afternoon that left a Randall man in critical condition. The accident occurred at the intersection with County Road 11 at about 2:40pm. 67-year-old James Wittenberg of New Ulm was driving a GMC Sierra southbound on Highway 10 when a westbound Jeep station wagon pulled out in front of him and the vehicles collided. Wittenberg and his passenger, 65-year-old Kathleen Wittenberg of New Ulm were both treated at the hospital in Little Falls and have since been released. The driver of the Jeep, 82-year-old Leon Siegel of Randall is in critical condition at the St. Cloud Hospital. Both vehicles took severe damage.
