High School Homecoming festivities continue around the area, with Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial and St. James High Schools crowning their Homecoming Royalty this week. The Lake Crystal Homecoming King is Gabe Gimenez, and the Homecoming Queen is Brittany Burnett. The Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Homecoming Parade takes place at 2pm today (FRI) prior to the Knights taking on New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva this evening at 7. The St. James High School Homecoming King is Nathan “Raul” Rodriguez, and their Homecoming Queen is Erin Hurley. The St. James Homecoming Parade is at 1:45 this afternoon, with the Saints taking on St. Peter this evening. Other schools celebrating Homecoming this week include New Ulm, Sleepy Eye, and Comfrey. New Ulm High School’s Homecoming Parade is at 5:30 today in downtown New Ulm.
