New Ulm High School crowned it’s Homecoming Royalty on Monday as a week of festivities got underway. Crowned Homecoming King was Luke Cihak and named Homecoming Queen was Madison Kral. Homecoming activities continue all week for New Ulm High School, with the annual Homecoming Parade taking place at 5:30pm on Friday in downtown New Ulm prior to the Homecoming Football Game against Blue Earth Area at 7pm Friday at Johnson Field in New Ulm. Other Homecomings coronations around the area this week include in Comfrey, where the new Homecoming King is Cole Kelly and the Homecoming Queen is Nancy Schroepfer, and Sleepy Eye High School, whose Homecoming King is Tyler Netzke and Homecoming Queen is Emily Johnson. Other area high schools celebrating Homecoming this week include Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial and St. James.
