Summertime isn’t done with us yet. Meteorologist Steve Woolenhouse says the heat will build up the next few days leading to the Labor Day weekend. He expects a high of 94 on Wednesday, and for it to reach 102-degrees on Thursday. Friday’s high is forecast to be 90, with upper-80s then for the weekend and a small chance of precipitation. The National Weather Service is issuing an Excessive Heat Watch for many parts of the state on Thursday as record highs are possible from morning through evening.
