Quiet Weather Season 07 Aug 12

It’s been pretty quiet around the state tornado-wise in the past two months, despite an early start to the severe-weather season. The National Weather Service’s Todd Krause says that there was a tornado on March 19th in southeast Minnesota this year, which was the 2nd-earliest tornado ever. The last tornado in the state touched down on June 17th, and most of the severe weather in late June and July consisted of isolated wind storms and hail. Krause says while it’s still possible to see tornadoes through October, it’s not very likely.
