Test results have confirmed that a Cokato man involved in a car crash that killed three family members east of Willmar last week was over the legal limit for alcohol. Kandiyohi County officials say the results show 21-year-old Paul Wickenhauser had a blood alcohol level of .09, just over the legal limit. Preliminary test results had showed him at .07. An amended complaint will now be filed against Wickenhauser, meaning he now faces eight felony counts. He’s currently free on bond and his next court appearance is set for November 19th, but he will have to now make an initial appearance on the additional charges. Two women and an 8-year-old girl were killed in the crash, and a 5-year-old boy was seriously injured. He is expected to recover. Wickenhauser suffered only minor injuries and faces vehicular homicide charges.
